Choosing a drum teacher is about much more than finding someone who can play the drums. It's about finding someone who makes you feel comfortable, understands how you learn and genuinely wants to see you succeed.
For over 15 years I've helped children, adults, complete beginners and returning drummers discover just how enjoyable learning the drums can be. I also have extensive experience supporting SEND learners, including students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other additional learning needs, adapting every lesson to suit the individual rather than expecting everyone to learn in the same way.
One thing I've learned over the years is that almost everyone arrives feeling a little nervous. You're walking into a new place, meeting someone you've never met before and trying something completely new. That's perfectly normal.
In the Drum Easy Studio, mistakes aren't something to avoid—they're part of learning. Nobody expects you to get everything right first time, and there are no gold stars for pretending you know what you're doing! We'll laugh at the odd accidental cymbal crash, celebrate the small victories and focus on building your confidence one lesson at a time.
Whether your goal is to play your favourite songs, join a band, learn at your own pace or work towards Trinity or RSL grades, every lesson is built around helping you make genuine progress while enjoying the journey. My aim is simple: to get you playing the drums as quickly as possible, in a relaxed, supportive environment where you'll always leave knowing you've moved one step closer to your goals.

Private 1-to-1 lessons from the new Drum Easy Studio will be available from August 2026.
Initially, lessons will be offered on Saturdays between 11:00am and 2:00pm, with a limited number of spaces available to ensure every student receives the highest standard of tuition and support.
